Nine Lives and Macro Shrub Zines at No Guts No Glory!

The postman has been visiting the No Guts No Glory Shop much more frequently these days – mostly with new magazines and books for our shelves. As lovely as that is, it’s with great pleasure that we’ve also recently received an awesome collection of handmade Comics and Zines!
First up another brilliant addition to our growing collection of comics by Kristyna Baczynski!
Nine Lives follows an unfortunate feline fellow as he counts down his generous quota of lives! A beautifully printed 10-page mini concertina comic, printed on 300gsm matte recycled natural board. This little treat is a limited edition of 300 and measures in at 10cm X 9 9cm when folded, and extents to 42cm.
Kristyna also recently designed New Shoots, her first tee for No Guts No Glory!
Murray Summerville and Jack Burston recently popped a bunch of their very highly acclaimed new Macro Shrub zine in the post too!
Macro Shrub #2 is Jack and Murray’s second zine so far this year! Inside the Screen Printed cover you’ll find no less than 20 pages filled with Murray’s illustrations and short comics and of course, Jack’s witty words! These guys really love experimenting and are always pushing their writing and illustrations to new limits – a pleasure to have on the NGNG shelves. We particularly enjoyed (and agreed with) their opening Manifesto!
The NGNG shop is home to so many more awesome zine’s, comics, books and magazines – pop by and take a browse next time you’re passing through! Keep an eye out for out next T-Shirts – rumour has it they’ll have Philip Harris’s name on the back!
For those of you that live locally – the second HANDMADE ARCADE is next Saturday, on 5th May! It’s a bank holiday, and we have lots in store for you this time round!
