New Things at No Guts No Glory!
Wednesday 16th May
Over the last week we've been flooded with deliveries to the No Guts No Glory Shop! Here is a selection of the T-Shirts, Prints, Zines, Cards and Magazines that have made their way to our shelves this week....
The recent flurry of packages began with this Black & White selection of goodies from Mr Millerchip!
We've been working with Joel and stocking his work in the shop for over a year now; those of you that have seen the new Mural in the shop, our recent flyers, the Handmade Arcade logo, our A-Boards or the Tally Ho design - that was Joel.
This selection includes his awesome Lost At Sea litho-print, some copies of WOOD - an awesomely illustrated concertina zine and some of his very own latest Hobson T-Shirts. These Organic Cotton tees are part of Joel's 'Dead Feathers' Series!
Next up, we restocked on a bunch of books, comics and zine anthologies that we've been displaying here in the No Guts No Glory shop for the last month :)
A great selection from the mighty Nobrow Press, including 'Hilda the Midnight Giant' by Luke Pearson, 'Malevolent Melody' (which comes with a free vinyl!) by Mcbess, and Jack Teagle's 'Fight!' comic. Fight 2 will is launched this month and WILL most definitely be found on the NGNG shelves!
We also received more of Microcosm's 'Chainbreaker Bike Book' - a zine anthology all about how to fix and look after your bike, with great excerpts and illustrations!
The lovely Sandra Dieckmann came to stay in Exeter last week, we all went for a tipple at The Bikeshed Theatre and had a lovely catch up :) A couple of days later we were rather excited to sign for a package containing a range of Sandra's latest print's and cards! Be sure to pop into the NGNG shop to take a look at these, Sandra's work is so beautiful.
And last but not at all least - the very latest issue of Believer Magazine! Born in the U.S.A in 2003, The Believer is a monthly Literary mag that is always filled with brilliant articles based around Arts and Culture.
That's just about it for now, there's soooo much on the way to NGNG though! Next up we're most likely to be posting about the arrival of the great WRAP magazine, Tabbytha's hand-made Jewellery and a well anticipated parcel from Jack Teagle and Donya Todd!
